What advice on the internship application process would you give to another TU student
interested in this internship?

Apply to a lot of internships. If you get an offer, but it’s not one that you really
want, continue to apply because you may get something better.

What did you do as an intern at this organization?

I researched previous legislation and laws in Maryland and across the US in regard
to reproductive justice for various groups. I focus on reproductive justice for incarcerated
women.

What were the challenges you faced in your internship?

Paying for parking and figuring out public transportation was the most difficult.
