Effective leaders are aware of their talents and work to sharpen them
Developing and investing in yourself as a leader is one of the most significant and
important opportunities you will have as a student. Chances are you will have the
opportunity to lead at some point during your college career and beyond. Learning
and emerging as a leader is a process, which requires acquiring knowledge about your
talents and strengths, developing skills through practice, and being intentional in
how you use your talents.
Taking the Assessment
The CliftonStrengths assessment is online and will take approximately 35-minutes.
All students, faculty and staff are able to take the CliftonStrengths assessment using
their TU email. To take the assessment, navigate to the Towson University CliftonStrengths website at Towson.gallup.com. Log in through Single Sign On (SSO) using your TU username
and password. Once logged in, you will be prompted to start the assessment.
After you take the assessment, you will receive a customized report that lists your
top five talent themes, along with action items for development and suggestions about
how you can use your talents to achieve personal, academic, and career success.
Taken the assessment before? You can always access your results by navigating to the Towson University CliftonStrengths
website, and logging in through Single Sign On (SSO) using your TU username and passwords.
Your results will be stored for your entire time at TU!
There are several CliftonStrengths sessions throughout the year. At the workshop you
will have an opportunity to learn about your top five (5) talents and how to utilize
them when you are at Towson University personally/socially, academically, and professionally.
